Bolts and Nuts

Carriage bolts are distinguished by the square section immediately beneath the bolt head

Material used: Low or medium carbon steel with galvanized finish.

Countersunk bolts are used when a smooth surface is required.

Double Arming Bolts are used in double crossarm construction to secure and lock in the spacing between the crossarm.

They are Hot Dip Galvanized with full rolled threads. Each bolt is furnished with Four Square Nuts.

Hex Headed Bolts have hexagonally shaped bolt head.

They are available in both standard thread and full thread.

Machine Bolt have square heads and a semi-cone point.

They are Hot Dip Galvanized with Rolled threads and one square nut.

Other sizes may be available on special order.

Square Head Bolts have a square shaped external wrenching head and are usually used with a square nut. Slippage will be less as the large bearing area offers positive gripping with an open or adjustable wrench.

Stud bolt has a thread on full lengths or at both ends.

It is a cut-to-length all thread rod used for bolting together flanges.

Upset Bolt, also known as spool bolt, provide additional clearance from the pole.

Bolts are forged from Carbon Steel. Bolts come complete with two square nuts, MF type lock nut and a locking pin.
